David Ave. Park Vestal, NY Number of Courts: 1 |
| Located just off Route 26 about
halfway between the Vestal
Parkway and the Pennsylvania border, David Ave. Park is another park
with
a single tennis court. The park is just a basketball court, a
tennis
court and some playground equipment, located on a cul-de-sac.
It
is so small, it almost looks like a private court.
The nets are too loose for competitive play, and do not have straps. There are no wind screens on the fences, but the court is protected by a row of trees On the positive side, there are no cracks on the court. Strangely, it appears the out of bounds area has been repainted more recently than the court itself, which has some noticeable sun bleaching. Since this is a single court, and there is absolutely no other reason to be there, it is not recommended for anything but beginners and those who live nearby. There are too many better alternatives in the area to be considered a viable option for a competitive match. |
